if you like furries and weight gain you will like this.

The third ebook in a joint collaboration between T.F. Wright and Volkenfox.
After injuring her foot in a race, Becky the rabbit goes becomes very depressed because she came in second place. Where she gains weight, finds new nerdy friends that accept her new self; then competes her transition into an obese nerd.
T.F. Wright is very efficient with his writing. He knows what needs to happen and doesn't meander around and doesn't put in pointless fluff. If there is a slight flaw in the ebook while Becky is a decent character, the supporting ones are a little on the flat side.
The transition from an athletic track star to fat nerd is pretty well done. The illustrations Volkenfox are excellent and complement the story being told rather than overshadowing it.
If you like weight gain and furries, you will definitely enjoy this story!

Great illustrations! Disappointing narrative...

I purchased this story a few months back as the subject matter peeked my interest. Unfortunately, I found the overall product to be rather disappointing. Rather than going into a lengthy explanation, I'm choosing instead to go with a simple pro and con breakdown.
Pros:
- Excellent descriptions
- Great use of illustrations
- Well intentioned message
Cons:
- Serious pacing issues, especially early on
- Poor development of supporting characters
- Over reliance on stereotypes
- Possibly offensive representation of gamers
- Unlikeable main protagonist
- Message gets botched due to major imbalances in narrative and character actions
So yes, the only parts of this story I really enjoyed were the descriptions and illustrations, but I found the characters to be very poorly written, either being jerks or stereotypes. Becky is easily the worst offender. Her initial reaction to the injury makes her come off as shallow and petty, and the events and choices she makes over the course of the story make her appear ignorant at best and stupid at worst. She learns a good lesson by the end, but her health and the state of her life went way down hill.
To sum up my thoughts, good intentions became completely botched due to cartoonish extremes and inconsistent development of narrative and characters. Nice drawings though.
