As a financial and motivational coach resolving difficult issues, Darryl Wortham teaches people how to reach their full potential. Mr. Wortham is also a successful real estate investor, educator, and mentor. He has appeared on CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes "Housing: Boom or Bust" He has also been featured in the LA Times "Putting Stock in Real Estate". His passion is giving back to the community through his volunteer and other charitable activities. Darryl is a Senior Project Manager at an industry-leader Internet networking company. He was a Systems Engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories and Sales Executive at Lucent Technologies. He received his Bachelor's of Technology in Computer Engineering from NYIT and his Master's of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Colorado. Ambitious Guide to Change in 90 Days

Bottomline: This book, and a few coaching sessions over the phone with the author, allowed me to increase my income via a side venture in a little over 90 days.
As the author has many demands on his time, I'm not sure whether he is still available (or affordable to others) as a coach. Even if one cannot afford his coaching services, this book is an excellent resource of steps to go through with a friend, mentor, or someone you trust who also wants to transform from producer into consumer.
Depending on where you are in your journey and level of confidence, this book, and it's many exercises, might be too overwhelming for you. I've read books by Anthony Robbins, and other motivational gurus and thus I needed a fresh presentation of important principles for success. This book delivered.
At the same time, this book might not be for everyone. For example, the author is male and has a very direct writing style (and since he's from the East Coast he knows it and even makes light of it). His style may be too rigid for readers who need more of an artistic or indirect "Do What You Love and The Money Will Follow" sort of style.
Also, similar to how Robbins' "Unlimited Power" was eventually re-written into an even more powerful edition: "Awaken the Giant Within", the author indicated plans to possibly supplement this book with more material, such as a workbook. I would look forward to reading that but I had NO PROBLEM answering the questions on seperate sheets of paper or via notes in my laptop. Regardless, no one should fool themselves and think that a book, whether in it's first edition or final edition, or with or without a workbook, is going to do the heavy lifting for them. You can use it as a lifting tool, though.
I used this book as a tool to re-examine my process. It is a very demanding book. As such, I prioritized the chapters and areas where I needed to focus and saved others for later (if and/or when I feel I need help in those areas). This process allowed me to quickly focus on the doing the exercises in the book that would give me the most bang for my buck.
This book has many lists and action plans, so one might think that the author is unaware of the human / psycho-emotional elements involved in completing objectives. Yet, as a coach the biggest thing the author helped me realize is that, in my haste to "GSD" ("Get S*&%! Done"), I was forgetting to acknowledge all that I was already doing. That was leading me to sometimes be too negative because I was focusing on the TO DO list instead of sometimes focusing on the DONE list. The author helped me see how important it was to record and/or commemorate my successes, not just my seemingly endless list of desires!
From this same perspective, potential readers of this book should realize that transforming into a producer in 90 days is hard work. Buy this book because you are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
And to those who are less passionate about increasing their incomes but who want to increase their success in other laudable endeavors: despite the title, the author admits that life is not only about money.
Even if you do not transform into a producer in exactly 90 days, in 90 days this book can help you get yourself closer to that goal. It is clear that the author himself has used these systems to reach his present success. And, especially if you, as I, have read some of the more well known motivational coaches, and like a body-builder, you need to try new exercises to keep your routine fun, I highly recommend you try the exercises in this book!
